All In The Image
And
Likeness Of God
Created
In the Image of God
It is not only human beings that were created in the image and likeness of God Almighty.
The Light
Of God
The light is an image and likeness of God, and it does exactly what God does. When God enters any dark place, the place immediately becomes full of light, bright and clear, and everything is visible. That is exactly what light does.
As God enters any place of darkness, the darkness flees away, varnishes. The light does the same. And as the torchlight ranges all over a place, or from one place to another, when you are searching for something, even so the eyes of God range all over the surface of the earth, like a searchlight. And as light reveals hidden things, even so the spirit of God reveals secrets.
The Dove
Of Holy Spirit
The dove is an image and likeness of the Holy Spirit. That was why the Holy Spirit comes like a dove, flying down to the earth. He came as a dove on the day of the baptism of Jesus Christ and perched on His head. Likewise, the Holy Spirit came as doves, tongues of fire, on the Pentecost Day, on the Apostles, Disciples and Saints.
God Is
The Radiance Of The Sun
If you want to know what God looks like, you have to look at the sun. The radiance of God is exactly like the radiance of the sun. That is why God is called the radiance of the sun. The only difference is that the sun appears like a ball, but God has the shape of a man and is also radiant, and even more radiant than the sun.
In the broad daylight, you do not see the sunlight speaking. But the light radiating from all over the body of God is a speaking light, saying, “The Almighty Father. The Almighty Father. The Almighty Father.” Imagine uncountable rays of light, profusely emanating from the body of God, in all directions. Each ray of light saying the same thing.
The Spirit
Of God
It is the spirit of God that is inside every created thing working. That is what is called the powers of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit is also Holy Spirit, and the power of the Holy Spirit can come in the form of a dove, just as the Holy Spirit comes as a dove. Yet, there is one God, the same God Almighty, who is known as the Holy Spirit.
Candlelight
At The Altar
Inside the temple, the church puts a candlelight beside the altar, because God is light. The candlelight reminds the children of God that God, as light, is present in spirit.
Confirmation
The confirmatory sign that spirit is light is that when you sleep at night, you see yourself dreaming and seeing visions, clearly.
The Rock
Of Ages
God is called The Rock Of Ages, because Himself is steadfast, and because what God does is also steadfast. The word of God is everlasting, just as a rock lasts for so many years, even so from ages to ages. If you were to keep a drop of water on the ground with the spirit of God in it, you shall not be able to crush, smash or trample upon the drop of water, if God does not allow to do so, despite the fact that it is ordinary water.
Ministering
Spirits
The Angels of God move as winds, as swift winds and as hurricanes. That is why the holy book says,
He
lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters,
Who
makes the clouds His chariot,
Who
walks on the wings of the wind,
Who
makes His Angels spirits,
His
ministers a flame of fire.
In His
Likeness
In the image of God means that something has the shape of God or appears the way God does appear. But, in the likeness of God means that the same power of the Holy Spirit in God and from God is working in the created thing. That why all things are living things, and all things are wise and wonderful. They are intelligent, sensitive and responsive. The confirmation is that every created thing knows what it is, knows its works and knows how to do its work.
For example, when you plant a seed, after it has germinated, the roots know that they have to move downwards inside the soil, to get food nutrients for the plant. The stem knows that it has to move upwards to carry, sustain, the plant; while the branches and leaves have to spread out, to be able to absorb as much sunlight as possible, photosynthesis. Each part of the plant does its work, without any person telling them what to do or how to do their work
